Its been a year:

Actually it was on June 26th, 2008 that my faithful little Rebel was brought home. What a friend its been and in such a life changing way. It was actually a combination of Marcus running over my purple point and shoot, as well as meeting up with Natalie Norton that this whole journey started.
Although it recently got replaced, that rebel has been such a reliable companion. Its allowed me to get to know some family members/friends so much better and most of all meet complete strangers that are now my very good friends.
But like I said, none of this would have been possible without my dear husband. He believed in me even before I took my first shot. He critiqued in a contructive manner my first photographic attempts. He shook me up when I would wallow in misery and endlessly complain saying " why doesn't anyone want me to photograph them!". Today we celebrate our first anniversary. What a year its has been. We have grown and learned so much. I love you and thank you for always being there, no, for alway being here.
Yours forever,
LeeYen

Our little Chinese Doll: Keilana

How we love for family to visit. Meet one of my many nieces and most likely the most Bossy of them all :) She's cute and very very smart. It'll be interesting to see her and her sisters again in December...by then she should be full speaking! If you ever wondered what I looked like when I was 2yrs old, here's a pretty good picture.
Jenny et Keilana, merci d'etre venues nous voir. Gros bisous,
Tatie LeeYen
PS: I'm pretty proud to say that I'm the first one she's ever called Tatie (Aunty)! Must be because I like to say "non" as much as she does.

Her Attention Span dwindling by the nanosecond...Photobucket

but wait there's worse.

Oh what a typical Tefan face... I've seen her sisters do that, I've seen her Mom do that, and I'm ashamed to say that I'm a pretty good at it too. Photobucket

My Mom was probably the happiest to see to her.

Sunny and Wilson

A beautiful location with a beautiful couple. This had to be one of the longest fun filled engagement session. Kewalo Basin holds quite a lot of sentimental value to these two...afterall, that is where feelings were first expressed and the "getting down on one knee" event took place. This is such an exciting time in anybody's life. Those two are so comfortable with each other and so much in love. Most of all, they were pretty much up for anything ;)
Thank you and congratulations!!!

Mana and Kava

It's no secret that we love this little guy. We love his big smile, perfectly round head and of course his big eyes.

Photobucket

But many not with so much hair. This is Kava's idea of "props".
